A group of senior military officers from the UAE Armed Forces participated in the first planning meeting with their counterparts from the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This meeting marked an important step in the preparations for the upcoming joint military exercise, “Bonds of Strength 4.” The exercise is scheduled to take place in Jordan this December, and the planning session focused on finalizing the operational details and coordination between the two forces.

The joint exercise aims to strengthen military cooperation and enhance the capabilities of both nations’ armed forces. This exercise is an extension of the strategic military cooperation between the two brotherly countries, reflecting the deep-rooted bilateral relations and the historical and fraternal ties between the leaderships of both nations.

During the meeting held in Jordan, both sides focused on ways to enhance military integration and foster greater exchange of expertise across various fields. These discussions were aimed at bolstering the readiness of their armed forces, with the goal of strengthening their operational capabilities. The cooperation also aligns with broader efforts to contribute to security and stability in the region.

The joint military exercise will include a range of military scenarios designed to test and implement new concepts and doctrines at both the strategic and tactical levels. Its primary objective is to enhance joint operational capabilities, develop military competencies, and improve readiness to tackle the increasingly complex security challenges facing the region.
