Dubai SME, the government agency responsible for supporting small and medium-sized businesses (SME), has informed that the UAE’s Leading Home Grown Accelerator The Arabian Luxury Group (TALG) has joined the list of approved business incubators under the umbrella of the Dubai Business Incubator Network (DBIN).
The incubator intends to establish and develop its own luxury brands, as well as adopt and invest in Emirati ventures in the fields of fashion, jewelry, cosmetics, apparel, perfumes, shoes, and other luxury products made and designed by UAE and Arab citizens. TALG will also work to launch and incubate these projects, and also encourage them to expand and grow around the country and the world.
Dubai has seen the introduction of a variety of popular business models that have gained great renown, and the UAE has been keen to embrace talents and creative ideas, allowing these projects to reach a global level. This has attracted international companies interested in exploring partnership opportunities with these ventures, as well as acquiring them.
Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Dubai SME said, “Emirati products visible in foreign stores and shopping centers will make us proud of our success and the capabilities and skills of Emirati creators to compete and innovate in manufacturing and exporting high-quality products.”
Mr. Al Janahi further stated that these innovators and entrepreneurs will be given financial and moral support, as well as a suitable work climate, using the best marketing strategies and promoting Emirati brands in regional and global markets, beginning with the GCC.
“We are interested in investing in luxury brands, and we will support and nurture creative entrepreneurs to design and manufacture products with international specifications. We are keen to go to regional and global events and exhibitions to introduce our products and export them, especially since it will create job opportunities for our younger generations and unveil and elevate Arab talent.”
Mr. Al Serkal has commented the group will support the first batch by developing their business and ensuring their success and expansion in the local, regional and global markets. Further, he added that the TALG has kept its doors open for more start-ups and new projects to adapt their businesses and support their growth and expansion.
