Saudi Arabia’s Tuwaiq Academy has unveiled its first diploma in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in partnership with Meta at its headquarters in Riyadh.
The nine-month program, set to kick off in December 2024, is designed to nurture exceptional homegrown talent and address the pressing need for advanced positions across various sectors.
The diploma, accredited by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, focuses on equipping trainees with practical and applied skills to thrive in a competitive environment. The key areas of program include machine learning, data analysis using Python and Tableau, AI-based system development, and big data management to drive technological innovations in various segments of society.
Tuwaiq Academy is the first of its kind to offer advanced professional boot camps and programs, training over 1,000 individuals daily. The Academy’s partnerships with leading global organizations, including Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Alibaba, and other leading entities, has enabled it to bridge the gap between modern technology and the needs of the labor market.
Recently, Tuwaiq Academy has launched its first diploma in Game Development, Virtual Worlds, in partnership with Meta. The program begins today with an aim to equip national cadres with essential capabilities to unlock the potential of virtual reality technologies.
The diploma includes practical learning method through applied projects under the supervision of a specialized teaching staff. This spans over two semesters, over 800 training hours. The trainees will acquire essential skills in virtual world programming, three-dimensional (3D) modelling, augmented and mixed reality application creation, C# programming, Unity engine development, and Web 3 technologies.
