The Professional Training Program in Generative Artificial Intelligence, offered by the Gen AI Academy in collaboration with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) and NVIDIA, was launched at the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran.
This initiative is the first step in a program aimed at training 4,000 Saudi citizens. The SDAIA-NVIDIA Generative AI Training Program is one of the world’s leading initiatives to train and qualify 4,000 Saudi citizens in generative AI.
Further, it aims to build the capabilities of the future generation in AI, enhance participants’ expertise to foster innovation, and highlight the Kingdom’s advanced position in the field.
According to the reports, the program targets individuals with a solid foundation in computer science or related fields, as well as academic professionals and practitioners in the field. It includes advanced and up-to-date training materials provided by a select group of certified Saudi experts from NVIDIA.
This program is part of SDAIA’s ongoing efforts to enhance national capabilities in generative AI, enabling local talent to acquire advanced skills that align with global developments. The program contributes to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 and building a sustainable future based on innovation and technology.
The participants will engage in comprehensive learning experiences that combine virtual self-learning modules with interactive in-person workshops.
Upon completion, participants will receive professional certifications accredited by NVIDIA, which are among the most recognized global credentials in generative AI, as per the statement.
