The Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA Group), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi University (ADU) to accelerate technical, societal and environmental solutions in the energy sector through research and development (R&D).
The cooperation aims to strengthen ties between both entities through training programs and knowledge exchange. The agreement was signed at ADU’s main campus by Mr. Saeed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director, ADDC, and Professor Waqar Ahmad, Chancellor, ADU.

ADDC plans, operates, maintains and owns network distribution assets and directly interfaces with water and electricity customers in Abu Dhabi’s central and Al Dhafra regions, leveraging technical expertise and best-practice customer-care solutions.
The company ensures water and electricity flow to more than 600,000 service points through a smart, robust, efficient and sustainable distribution network.
