The Saudi Post (SPL) has secured the 2024 TradePost Global Award for its pioneering Prepaid SMEs platform.
The award, presented by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) and the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, honors initiatives that foster trade inclusion and the growth of small and medium enterprise (SME). Additionally, the award recognizes the best practices for sustainable trade inclusion efforts.
The Saudi Post’s SMEs platform is a pioneering platform designed to support the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and help them with their business logistics. SPL introduced the SMEs electronic platform as part of its digital transformation strategy, enhancing its postal and logistics services in line with international best practices.
Through this platform, SPL seeks to support its customers’ businesses and cater to the surging eCommerce activities, which align with the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
The SMEs platform empowers enterprises, entrepreneurs, productive families, and individuals by providing discounted prices, easy electronic subscription, access to recipient address information, shipment tracking, and hassle-free return shipments with refund if the sending process is incomplete.
SPL is working towards achieving its strategic goals to emerge as the top choice for the government and private sectors, providing high logistical and geospatial capabilities regionally.
This achievement marks another outstanding addition to Saudi Post’s impressive array of awards. Saudi Post, established in 1926, is leading government operated postal system in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Post’s new identity ‘SPL’ was launched in April 29, 2021, with an aim to emerge as a premier leading national group that offers logistics and postal services to customers and bridge the gap between Saudi Arabia and the world.
