Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone (SPC Free Zone) has entered into a two-year strategic partnership with Emirates NBD to further strengthen the investment benefits that have already drawn more than 11,700 startups from around the world to launch and grow their businesses in the region.

The partnership was officially announced during the 43rd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, where Saif Al Suwaidi, Director of Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, and Rohit Garg, Head of Business Banking at Emirates NBD, signed the memorandum of understanding.

The collaboration is part of Sharjah Publishing City’s ongoing commitment to providing a globally connected, tax-free platform for businesses in the publishing, printing, and distribution sectors.

Saif Al Suwaidi emphasized that the partnership is aimed at continuously improving services to create the ideal environment for businesses. “This strategic partnership with Emirates NBD ensures that our customers benefit from enhanced financial solutions, strengthening Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone’s position as a hub for innovation and efficiency,” the Director added.

Rohit Garg highlighted the significance of the partnership, saying, “We are proud to collaborate with Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone to provide innovative banking solutions that support their customers’ business goals. This partnership reflects our commitment to developing services that create the ideal environment for business growth in the UAE.”

The MoU provides Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone customers with exclusive banking benefits, including a dedicated channel at Emirates NBD to facilitate credit facilities and account openings. Additionally, the partnership will integrate banking operations using API compliance standards to streamline services and ensure data security.
