Smartlog, a leading provider of intralogistics solutions, and Tamer Group, a prominent conglomerate in the Middle East, have partnered to unveil AutoStore and Galys Monitor technology.

The implementation of AutoStore and Galys Monitor technology in Tamer’s new logistics park in Riyadh was revealed during the Saudi Warehousing and Logistics Expo. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the digital transformation of logistics in the region, providing an innovative and efficient solution to optimize storage and order picking operations.

AutoStore, a state-of-the-art robotic storage and order preparation system, has been designed to meet Tamer Group’s unique requirements. With a storage capacity of 10,000 products and 6 robots, and exceptional order picking speed, this solution ensures better efficiency and flexibility compared to traditional systems.

The system includes three reversible carousel ports with PPS (Position projection system) technology to mitigate errors, enhancing the management of multiple SKUs stored in partitioned bins. Additionally, the system will feature three order picking workstations, each equipped with 10 pick-to-light indicators, enabling more efficient and grouped operations.

Smartlog’s Galys Monitor software provides real-time monitoring and management of logistics processes, offering comprehensive visibility into inventory and productivity while  facilitating informed decision-making through key performance indicators (KPIs). It optimizes workflow, anticipates demand, and ensures seamless operations.

Smartlog’s solution stands out for its high customization. Developed through close collaboration between both companies, it meets Tamer’s technical standards and brand identity. By analyzing customer needs, the solution integrates seamlessly into existing operations, boosting efficiency and productivity.

The integration of AutoStore and Galys Monitor at Tamer’s logistics hub exemplifies the power of collaborative innovation, elevating operational efficiency and excellence. This customized solution harmoniously merges technology with Tamer Group’s core values, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable operations.
