Sharjah to organize ‘ACRES 2025’ from January 22-25

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), in collaboration with the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), is set to organize the Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition – ACRES from January 22-25 at Expo Centre Sharjah.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, the 2025 edition is is deemed as the largest and most prominent, with the participation of over 110 exhibitors, representing major real estate development and investment companies and top-tier property developers from across the UAE and the region, alongside first-time participants.

The press conference, held at the Sharjah Chamber’s headquarters, to announce the event was attended  by Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI; Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of SRERD; and Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Representative Committee of the Real Estate Sector Business Group at SCCI and Chairman of the Organising Committee of ACRES.

Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA); Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI; Nawaf Obeid, CEO of Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition “ACRES”; and Sultan Shataf, the Commercial Director at Expo Centre Sharjah, were also present.

ACRES 2025, spanning over an area of 10,000 square meters, will spotlight a variety of the latest projects and investment opportunities in the real estate sector, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties, land parcels, and hotel and hospitality development projects.

The exhibition will provide a platform to support property development, promote the exchange of expertise and experience, and offer participants with an opportunity to showcase their latest and major projects.

“The exhibition’s success underscores the efforts made by the Sharjah Chamber, in collaboration with its strategic partners, to enhance the exhibition’s role in driving the ongoing growth of the real estate sector, highlighting the emirate’s status as a premier regional destination for real estate investment. The sustainable growth in Sharjah’s real estate market is evident, with a 35.6 percent increase in transaction volume during the first half of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, with a total value of $4.95 billion (AED 18.2 billion).”

Abdulaziz Rashid Al Saleh, Director of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD), highlighted their commitment to enhancing the emirate’s position as a prime destination for sustainable real estate investment.

Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi stated that this year’s edition of ACRES Exhibition is deemed as the largest and most prominent, featuring major real estate companies and Egyptian real estate pavilion.

Issa Ataya, CEO of Alef Group, also highlighted their commitment to supporting the real estate sector in the Emirate of Sharjah and to reinforce its position as a leading investment destination in the region. Alef Group is the Platinum Sponsor of ACRES 2025.

As a gold sponsor at ACRES 2025, Jamal Al Shawish, Head of Sales and Marketing at IFA Hotels and Resorts, expressed the company’s commitment to ensuring the success as well as their plans to unveil its first real estate projects in the emirate during the flagship exhibition.
