Shahid, the first and leading VOD and SVOD streaming platform in the Arab world by MBC GROUP, has launched on HUAWEI AppGallery, the official app distribution platform of HUAWEI.

With this launch, Shahid’s entertainment content will reach a massive Huawei user base, spanning millions across the Middle East and beyond.

As part of this milestone, Shahid, represented by Natasha Matos-Hemingway, Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, and HUAWEI AppGallery, represented by William Hu, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East and Africa Eco Development and Operation, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The partnership highlights both companies’ commitment to driving growth through innovation and exploring growth opportunities in the digital landscape. With Shahid now available on AppGallery, Huawei users can enjoy seamless access to Shahid’s premium content library, featuring critically acclaimed Arabic Originals, exclusive releases, and live streaming of popular TV channels and sports events.

To fuel further growth, Shahid is leveraging Petal Ads’ advanced advertising capabilities to target key audiences and enhance user engagement across the regional market. This initiative falls in line with Shahid’s ambition to grow its market share among Huawei device users.

Additionally, Shahid’s advertising inventory will now be available on the Petal Ads platform, creating an additional revenue stream while providing advertisers with exceptional opportunities to connect with a highly engaged audience.
