Abu Dhabi Healthcare Services (SEHA) will expand its weekly Covid-19 testing capacity by more than 66% in the coming days. The group is beginning nine facilities across the country and increasing the operating hours of some of its centers.
It will help SEHA to accommodate 7,000 more tests a week amounting to a rise of 72 percent. The new screening centers will be located in Al Shamkha, Al Madina and the Corniche in Abu Dhabi, Al Daher in Al Ain City and City Walk in Dubai.
Another organization part of the SEHA group, Al Dhafra Hospitals will also add three new centers in Silaa, Mirfa and Liwa. All centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will be working six days a week, up from five days. As a result, SEHA’s weekly capacity will increase to more than 115,000.
Last week, the UAE announced all Emiratis and their domestic worker employees will be tested for the coronavirus free of charge.
