The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has announced the launch of the Professional Training Program in Generative AI, offered through the Generative AI Academy in collaboration with NVIDIA.
The program is aimed at training specialists in the field, enhancing their expertise in large language models and multimodal models, while also boosting their opportunities to earn NVIDIA professional certifications.
The program is designed to enhance participants’ skills in several key areas, including building and customizing generative AI models, utilizing parallel computing to speed up the development and training of large language models, designing advanced applications based on these models, and deploying them efficiently in production environments to ensure sustainable performance. The training will be available both in-person in Riyadh and Dhahran, as well as remotely.
This program is part of SDAIA’s ongoing efforts to enhance national capabilities in generative AI, enabling local talent to acquire advanced skills that align with global developments. The program contributes to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 and building a sustainable future based on innovation and technology.
SDAIA announced that registration for the Dhahran program is open starting Sunday, December 15, and will continue until December 19, 2024.
The program is set to launch on December 29, 2024, and will run for one month. Registration details for the Riyadh-based and remote programs will be announced at a later date.
To register, applicants must have a PhD or master’s degree in deep learning, a bachelor’s degree in AI, or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with a focus on AI, including coursework in deep learning.
