The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK) in order to strengthen cooperation between the entities.
The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid Al-Hoqail, and the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Noh Hyeong-ouk.
The primary aim of this MoU is to strengthen cooperation and facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the SCA and the ICAK in the construction sector. It intends to establish a framework and standards for the development of the construction industry in both countries, while also focusing on enhancing the skills and expertise of the workforce involved in this field.
Further, this collaboration will contribute to the mutual growth and advancement of the construction sectors in Saudi Arabia and Korea.
Earlier this year, Saudi Contractors Authority entered into a partnership with Ventures Onsite, a product of Ventures Middle East, in order to launch SCAVO, an innovative and comprehensive construction intelligence platform for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

ICAK promotes bilateral and multilateral cooperative efforts. ICAK also supports joint meetings and seminars aimed at increasing cooperation with construction industries of other nations and international organizations.
