Oil Park Development Company (OPDC), a closed joint stock company fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) who developed THE RIG, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Helicopter Company (THC), the leading commercial helicopter operator in Saudi.
The aim of this collaboration is to offer a premium helicopter transport service for visitors travelling to and from the RIG, the first-ever offshore adventure tourism definition located in the Arabian Gulf. Under this partnership, THC will enhance the overall visitors experience by leveraging its expertise to provide specialized helicopter services with high standard of safety, comfort and efficiency.
The agreement highlights the commitment of two parties in enhancing the kingdom’s tourism as well as entertainment offerings aligning with Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes improving transportation infrastructure and hospitality sector in the country.
