Saudi, welcome to Arabia, the official destination brand of the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), has introduced Dalila on the Visit Saudi website and mobile app.

Part of Saudi’s packed Winter Season, which features an array of entertainment and events nationwide, Dalila serves as a comprehensive guide for off-road enthusiasts, enabling users to craft personalized itineraries with seamlessly integrated services. The season, which began in October, will continue through the end of the first quarter of 2025.

The platform offers detailed information on routes, programs, products, and tourist destinations, allowing visitors to explore the Heart of Arabia with ease.

Dalila provides four key services, starting with the Dalila Map, which includes over 50 routes accessible offline to ensure users stay on track while navigating remote destinations. The platform also features the Dalila Community, where users can connect with friends and family to plan trips, share experiences, and send invitations for adventure outings.

Furthermore, Dalila Experience simplifies every aspect of trip planning, from booking to exploration, covering activities such as hiking, stargazing, rock climbing, cycling, horseback riding, and camel treks. Complementing this, the Dalila Educational Platform—set to launch soon—will offer training courses to help users develop essential outdoor skills, complete with certified credentials.

Adding a cultural dimension, Dalila showcases Saudi Arabia’s rich history by linking tourist destinations to prominent figures in Arabic literature and poetry, in collaboration with the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. This feature brings destinations to life with traditional stories and highlights the Kingdom’s natural beauty, including protected areas rich in diverse flora, fauna, and bird species.

The platform also supports adventure tourism by providing stakeholders with insights into tourist preferences and trends. Private sector partners can leverage this data to develop products and services tailored to various audience segments, from pioneers and adventurers to casual visitors.
