The Saudi Transport General Authority (TGA) has launched a comprehensive directory of licensed truck freight carriers through its ‘Logisti’ platform.

The initiative enables local and international companies to easily access approved transporters while enhancing the efficiency of cargo movement both domestically and across the region.

The Transport General Authority said the directory provides beneficiaries with detailed information on licensed carriers, including the destinations they serve within the Kingdom, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and other Arab states.

The platform also specifies the types of trucks and trailers available, helping cargo owners, agents, and businesses select services that meet their specific transport requirements.

TGA stated that, “The directory facilitates direct communication between cargo owners and licensed carriers, enhancing reliability and supporting the smooth flow of transport operations. It is a significant step toward raising operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.”

The Authority emphasized that the Logisti platform not only supports domestic cargo movement but also facilitates international trade by providing businesses with easy access to licensed carriers operating across the GCC and Arab countries.

The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader logistics development objectives, contributing to the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance the transport and logistics sector under Saudi Vision 2030.

By digitalizing logistics services and connecting companies with licensed carriers via a unified platform, the initiative aims to improve transparency, optimize supply chain efficiency, and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s role as a regional logistics hub linking Asia, Europe, and Africa.

The launch of the directory represents a further step in the Kingdom’s ongoing strategy to develop both the regulatory and digital infrastructure of the transport and logistics sector, reinforcing its position as a regional center for efficient, reliable, and technologically advanced freight operations.
