Saudi pavilion steals spotlight at EUROSATORY 2024

Saudi Arabia has concluded its participation in the Global Event for Defense and Security EUROSATORY 2024, which was held in the French capital, Paris.

The Saudi pavilion at the exhibition attracted attention and had a significant number of visitors who came to explore the latest achievements, products, and developments in the military sector in the Kingdom.

The Saudi pavilion, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), showcased Saudi Arabia’s invitation to global investors interested in military industries.

Further, it highlighted efforts made to develop research and innovation in military industries, as well as the policies, legislation, and incentives that contribute to stimulating the localization and enablement of the sector, enhancing supply chains and investment opportunities. The pavilion also highlighted the significance of collaboration to achieve the military-industrial sector’s strategy.

On the sidelines of EUROSATORY 2024, during Saudi-French Day, GAMI Governor Eng. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Ohali discussed the establishment of industrial and defense alliances between Saudi Arabia and France. GAMI Deputy Governor for Enablement Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Aqili addressed the regulatory structure and management of local content policy in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi pavilion at EUROSATORY 2024 saw many meetings, initiatives, and partnerships with participating entities, showing success in achieving national goals in the military-industrial sector.

According to the statement, the Saudi pavilion was the result of the collaboration of various entities from both the public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Investment represented by the Invest Saudi platform (INVEST SAUDI), the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), and several major Saudi national institutions and companies specialized in the field of military industries.

These include the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Saudia Technic, Life Shield for military industries (Life Shield), Scopa Industries (Scopa), Arabian International Co. for Steel Structures (AIC Steel), Saudi Leather Industries Company (SLIC), Al-Esnad for Military Supplies (AL-ESNAD), Khidmat Ray Manufacturing Co. (KRMC), and the World Defense Show (WDS).

The participating entities in the Saudi Pavilion reviewed the rapid steps taken by the military-industrial sector to continue localizing and enabling the sector, which is rich in local capabilities that meet the practical needs of the military agencies within the framework of the sector’s rapid growth in attracting quality investments that will help develop a thriving economy and sustainable industry.
