Rotana, a leading hotel management company, has teamed up with the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches, focusing to nurture local talent in the hospitality sector.
The academy has enrolled its first cohort of students for its inaugural intake in September, fostering hospitality education in Abu Dhabi and beyond.
The partnership aims to nurture and enhance local talent for a career in the UAE’s hospitality sector. As the UAE’s tourism and hospitality industry is flourishing, the demand for skilled professionals is higher than before. Through this collaboration, they aim take a step forward in bridging the skills gap in the sector while fostering local talent to cater to the evolving needs of the market.

Rotana will equip students with valuable industry insights, internships, and job placements at its esteemed properties across the UAE. The partnership will also offer mentorship programs, workshops, and masterclasses led by seasoned professionals from both Rotana and the academy.

Additionally, the partners have created the Rotana scholarship providing students with a full annual tuition at the institution. Selected on a merit-base, this year Fatma Ibrahim will pursue a four year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Global Hospitality Management including an internship at one of Rotana’s properties and will be able to pursue her career within the group.
Furthermore, the partnership will feature a range of events and initiatives with a focus on engaging students and fostering community involvement, and celebrating the rich talents of upcoming hospitality professionals.
