The agreement, which was signed during the visit of Jordan’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Mr. Youssef Shamali to Saudi Arabia along with an industrial delegation, falls under the joint keenness of both sides to further enhance economic cooperation relations between the business people of two countries and realize joint interests.
The memorandum was signed by Mr. Naif A. Al-Rajhi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of RCCI and Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, President of the ACI.
The cooperation aspects between the two chambers, according to items of the memorandum, include exchanging available information on economic activities in the two countries, information on the fields of the industrial economy, investment and commercial laws and regulations and any possible changes to them.
It also includes cooperation between the two sides in organizing economic and investment events and forums, encouraging the exchange of visits between commercial delegations, and seeking to establish a communication network between the two business sectors in the two countries. This would facilitate acquainting members of both chambers with commercial and investment opportunities available in both countries.
