Singaporean-American multinational technology company Razer has launched the Kaira X wired gaming headset for PlayStation and Xbox gamers.
The new addition to Razer’s gaming headset lineup features TriForce 50mm drivers and a HyperClear Cardioid Mic for optimal audio performance. Razer Kaira X has onboard controls, a padded headband, and Flowknit memory foam ear cushions that the company claims offer additional comfort.
The PlayStation version of the Razer Kaira X is only available in Black and White, but the Xbox version comes in five various colors and they are Black, Blue, Green, Red, and White. The Kaira X costs $60, which is considerably less than the $100 Kaira and $150 Kaira Pro.
Razer said that “it is providing up to two years of warranty and tech support for the headset.” The company further added that the clients who buy straight from the company’s online store will be eligible for 14 days of risk-free returns.
The Razer Kaira X headset incorporates oval-shaped ear cushions and Razer’s Triforce 50mm speakers. According to the company, “The Kaira X comes with a frequency response range of 20Hz–20,000Hz and an impedance of 32 Ohms.” It works with Windows Sonic spatial sound technology.
The new gaming headset does not include a noise-canceling capability. Further, the battery life of Razer Kaira X is not revealed by the company.
Razer says “the new gaming headset is compatible with PlayStation, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.” The headset’s cable is 1.3 meters in length and comes with a 3.5mm jack. The frequency response of the microphone is 100Hz–10,000Hz. The headset weighs 283 grams, according to the reports.
