Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), a pioneer in digital banking, has introduced innovative features on its Mobile App, elevating customer experience to new heights.

QIB Mobile App now supports international wallet transfers, including UPI transfers to India and Mobile Wallet Payments to Egypt. With this new feature, QIB customers can send money directly and seamlessly to any recipient in India, using UPI ID. This feature is beneficial for Indian nationals in Qatar who wish to transfer money back home effortlessly.

Mobile Wallet transfers to Egypt feature enables immediate transfers to any wallet in Egypt using the registered local mobile numbers. This instant transfer enhances financial inclusion by providing a real-time and secure method for fund transfers.

The QIB Mobile App also includes AutoPay feature. This innovative feature enables its customers to automate their utility bill payments including Ooredoo, Vodafone, and Kahramaa. It ensures that bills are paid on time without manual intervention. Autopay saves customers’ time and effort while providing peace of mind that essential services will remain uninterrupted.

Furthermore, the app now offers the EDAA NIN & IBAN Linking feature, which simplifies the process of receiving dividend payments via the EDAA platform. The feature allows investors in the Qatari Stock Exchange to link their National Investor Number (NIN) with their QIB International Bank Account Number (IBAN) via the QIB Mobile App. This ensures dividends are promptly credited to their accounts, eliminating the risk of unclaimed or delayed payments.

The QIB Mobile App now streamlines transfer by merging International SWIFT transfers and Direct Remit into a single, smooth process. This update enhances the transfer experience, integrating both services into one feature. For countries where Direct Remit is enabled, transfers are processed instantly and securely at competitive exchange rates, eliminating the need to choose between services, as the app automatically selects the most efficient method based on the recipient’s country.
