The Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has introduced direct online applications for vacant shops in Al Furjan Markets through its digital portal app, streamlining the process of allocating vacant commercial stores.

The requirement consists of submitting a valid commercial register that matches the specific commercial activity, along with the owner’s Qatari ID as per the commercial register, the local address of company and owner and a valid commercial license.

The bank’s digital portal will provide all the information about vacant shops such as the application requirements, location, available commercial activities etc. The digital portal also offers comprehensive support and guidance throughout the process, making it easier for the applicants to apply for the vacant shops.

Mr. Ali Mehsin Al Nuaimi, Senior Manager of Assets Management and Development stated that this service aims to ensure a transparent and effective allocation process, enabling entrepreneurs to access suitable commercial location and to increase the chances of success.

“Our continued work on Al Furjan Markets falls in line with our goals in terms of developing and supporting Qatar’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. We believe in the importance of this project which benefits the economy and society alike,” commented Al Nuaimi.
