Ooredoo has won Best Corporate social responsibility (CSR) Initiative Oman 2024 at the Global Business & Finance Magazine Awards, in recognition of its digital entrepreneurship training programs, Springboard and SpringForward and their women’s incubators.
These initiatives embody the company’s commitment to young, local talent and provide the skills required for participants to become future business leaders and business owners, which aligns with Oman’s Vision 2040 to diversify the economy and foster the growth of SMEs and SoHos.
Ooredoo has provided professional development opportunities for over 10,000 Omani women through their incubators. Springboard for women, and SpringForward for men and women, connect individuals with professionals to unlock their potential and learn valuable skills to help achieve their personal and professional goals.
SpringForward was launched in 2018 after the success of Springboard, delivered by licensed trainer and head of CSR at Ooredoo, Ayesha Al Shoily. The programs develop the individual strengths of attendees with dedicated coaching and support in building professional and personal leadership and life skills.

Recently, Ooredoo and Tamimah Digital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a business-to-business (B2B) e-marketplace. The first eCommerce platform of its kind will showcase products and services offered by small and medium enterprises, companies and government entities for a business customer base in Oman.
