Oman Tourism carries out promotional campaigns in India

The Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has been carrying out a promotional campaign in India that will continue till the 28th of this month.

Oman is a fast-growing tourism destination for Indian tourists, with a significant focus on attracting over 600,000 Indian visitors in 2024. Oman provides a variety of experiences, from its beautiful coastline to its historic landmarks for tourists and travelers.

Through a number of initiatives and partnerships with Indian travel companies, Oman has been actively promoting its travel industry. The Sultanate’s attractiveness is increased by its advantageous location and accessibility from major Indian cities.

H E Azzan Qassim Mohamed al Busaidi, Undersecretary for tourism in the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, held a bilateral meeting with Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, India’s Tourism Minister, in India’s capital New Delhi

Additionally, Oman’s tourism authorities are likely working on simplifying visa processes and providing special offers to attract more visitors. They may also focus on niche markets such as adventure tourism, weddings, and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism, which are becoming increasingly popular among Indian tourists.

Oman’s commitment to sustainability and preserving its cultural heritage is another draw for travelers. The country’s efforts to balance modernization with tradition resonate well with the values of many Indian tourists, who seek authentic and responsible travel experiences.
