As part of recent measures to reduce the business restrictions across the UAE, offices will be allowed to reopen at 50 percent of their capacity from tomorrow.
Earlier, some offices were allowed to reopen with only 30 percent of their staff in attendance. However, the new rule specifies a maximum of 50 percent of the workers will be permitted to work from the office and across common areas as per a directive issued by Dubai Economy.
All elevators must also have signings that adhere to specified physical distancing protocols.
Salons and barbershops will be permitted to reopen with 50 percent of their capacity too.
Malls and retails outlets will be permitted to raise their staffing and customer occupancy levels from the current 30 percent to 70 percent from May 27, and they will also be permitted to remain open from 6 AM – 10 PM.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revised the timings of public transport systems within the emirate to accommodate these changes.
To #DubaiMetro users, please be informed that effective tomorrow Wednesday, 27 May, metro operation timings will change to be from Saturday till Thursday from 7 AM until 12 AM and on Friday from 10 AM till 12 AM, until further notice.#RTA pic.twitter.com/odxTv8E4ET

Intercity buses will continue to be suspended until further notice.
