The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, or special class, enters the market with new luxury statements that have never been seen before in the automobile industry.
The S-class can be experienced to senses, seeing, feeling, hearing and smelling while also offering the 7th generation advancements in driver assistance, protection and interaction.
The designers have created a relaxing atmosphere that is distinguished by elegance, excellent quality, and lightness. The dashboard is a standout feature, with its unique architecture, modern surface design, and ergonomic display arrangement. The S-Class cares for its passengers’ well-being with exceptional ride quality and low noise levels, as well as an extensive range of its air filtering system renamed as ENERGIZING Air Control.
The vehicle interior is even more digital and sophisticated, as advancements in both hardware and software have been made, such as stunning displays on up to five large screens, which use Organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) technology to make the vehicle and comfort functions much easier to handle.
The options for customization and intuitive operation have grown significantly. This certainly applies in the rear, but also to the driver, for example, the new 3D driver display allows a spatial view at the touch of a button for the first time. A real three-dimensional effect is achieved without having to wear 3D glasses.
It has two different head-up displays (HUDs) available which can assist in navigation. The voice assistant “Hey Mercedes” is, even more, learn- and dialogue-capable by activation of online services in the Mercedes me App. “Hey Mercedes” now also answers general knowledge questions and explains vehicle features. In the S-Class, the voice assistant can also be controlled from the rear. Moreover, certain actions can be performed even without the activation keyword. These include accepting a telephone call.
MBUX Interior Assist not only enhances operational convenience, but it also improves safety. It alerts the driver even before the journey begins. By interpreting head direction, hand motions, and body language, MBUX Interior Assist also identifies and predicts the wishes and intents of the occupants, and replies with appropriate vehicle functions.
The seating is another major attraction of the S-Class. It has ten different massage programs accompanied by soothing music. These use vibration motors and can improve the effect of a relaxing massage with warmth on the hot-stone method. To this end, seat heating is combined with the inflatable air chambers in the active multi-contour seats. The air chambers are now closer to the seat surface and are therefore even easier to control and feel.
The S-Class Mercedes-Benz is now available at Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, the authorized general distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Qatar.
