Abu Dhabi state-owned sovereign wealth fund Mubadala Investment Company has become the sponsor of the UAE Team Emirates, the country’s professional cycling champions.
The team races for and represents the UAE on the World Tour, competing in some of the biggest races across the globe including the UAE Tour which is taking place in the Emirates at the end of February. Last year, the team secured the biggest recognition in world cycling the ‘Tour de France’, placing the country at the top in the sports’ world.
With the current sponsorship for the UAE Team Emirates, the sovereign wealth fund shows its commitment to the nation and demonstrates its continued support of sports within the community to help to inspire and promote a healthy lifestyle. It also highlights the importance of physical activity as part of overall wellness and wellbeing.
