The data hub of DEWA, Moro Hub has entered into a partnership with the multinational technology company, Huawei, to initiate the multi-tenant Cloud Stack hosted in the UAE at region’s first of its kind Green Data Centre.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice Chairman of Moro Hub and Jiawei Liu, CEO of Huawei UAE, under the presence of the MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer.
The new developer-friendly, secure and resilient Cloud Platform offers a wide range of innovatively managed services with multi-availability zones while keeping up with the sustainability objectives of the government and enterprises.
The current partnership is in line with Moro Hub’s launch of the Green Data Centre to give innovative technologies and services for its clients. The new cloud offering put forwards the shared vision of both Moro Hub and Huawei to reduce carbon emissions and to boost environmental sustainability.
The platform will bring support to the digital transformation of government and private organizations in the country to strengthen the infrastructure to keep up with the developments of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

The Cloud Platform in partnership with Huawei offers a full suite of modern, highly scalable and flexible infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) system that have the capacity of addressing the requirements of clients.

The New Cloud Platform provides scalability, reliability, visibility, security with predictable costs, and reduced lead time to deploy,” Al Tayer added.
The current partnership with Huawei shows the commitment of Moro Hub in strengthening the alliances to accelerate a digital society at regional as well as a global level and the launch of Moro Hub Open Cloud will help the clients to make positive contributions to the environment.
The service gives an easily accessible self-service cloud portal to supervise all cloud services and provides 360-degree visibility into the customer’s environment with monitoring and reporting. The platform meets all the international standards to confirm business continuity, disaster recovery and compliance requirements.
