The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) is gearing up to host the Biban 24 forum, scheduled from November 5 to 9 in Riyadh.
The event will explore the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities”, with 250 local and international speakers, along with 1,350 exhibitors representing entrepreneurs from domestic and international markets.
The aim of the forum is to support the growth and competitiveness of entrepreneurial ventures, to cultivate a thriving ecosystem for entrepreneurs to empower them and to boost the number of new companies.
It also seeks to unlock potential investment opportunities for projects in both the public and private sectors, while introducing youths to innovative ideas and investment strategies that fall in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on enhancing the contributions of small and medium enterprises’ to the GDP.
“Biban 24 forum serves as a platform for entrepreneurs to discover new opportunities and promote the growth and sustainability of small and medium enterprises. The forum also paves the way for future collaborations in innovation between entrepreneurs from Saudi Arabia and international counterparts, both regional and global. It offers a valuable platform for direct interaction among thousands of changemakers, entrepreneurs, and supporters of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, ultimately contributing to a more prosperous future for all.”
Over 150 entities from various sectors will take part in the forum to address the pressing issues and obstacles that may hinder the growth of SMEs, helping them to tackle challenges by shedding light on capacity building and the comprehensive landscape of eCommerce. The forum will also host the finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, with participants from 151 countries.
Biban 24 will feature many training workshops, expected to benefit over 19,000 participants. The workshops will cover a diverse range of topics, with an aim to cultivate a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem, empowering emerging companies to drive growth and sustainability.
The forum is expected to attract over 120,000 attendees. It will include nine doors designed to meet the diverse needs of SME owners and entrepreneurs in various industries. The nine doors are: Start, Enablement, E-commerce, Funding and Investment, Innovation, Startup, Franchise, Fast-growing Enterprises, and Market.
Additionally, the forum is set to feature numerous launches and agreements that directly impact the entrepreneurship sector across various industries. It also seeks to support investment in SMEs, stimulate their growth, and facilitate the emergence of new companies in the local market through various financing solutions.
