Majalis Abu Dhabi by corporating with Al Bayt Mitwahid Association (ABM) has rolled out the ‘Majalis Abu Dhabi Innovation Competition’ with an aim to support community members to find solutions to address everyday issues using technology-oriented concepts.
With this competition, Majalis and ABM strive to follow the national strategy of encouraging innovation in the country by spreading its awareness and reinforcing the historical role of Majalis in strengthening social bonds in the UAE. In addition, the competition also targets to encourage community members to innovate and push the boundaries of creative thinking and problem-solving.
The applications are open to all members of the community between the age of 10 and 21. After the application phase is finalized, an experts committee will review all the projects and select three winners based on the criteria set by the jury and they will be awarded monetary prizes to execute the concept.
The participating projects must revolve around the topic of employing technology to increase social cohesion as well as for offering services to the elderly and people of determination within the community.

As 2021 marks the UAE’s 50th year, coinciding with ‘UAE Innovates 2021’, both Majalis and Al Bayt Mitwahid aim to highlight the importance of innovation and communal solidarity as the cornerstone of vision for the coming 50 years.

ABM has established as a national leader in community development, providing the diverse communities of the UAE with an open platform to give back to society.
