With the appointment of Mr. Ashraf Sheet as the Vice President (VP) for the region, Swimlane, a low-code security automation firm, has formally disclosed its expansion into the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META).
Mr. Sheet will accelerate the company’s go-to-market and channel growth ambitions in the region while leveraging the growing demand for Swimlane security automation across META.
Swimline’s new META VP has more than 20 years of expertise in the cyber security industry and has held progressive positions managing sales and channel teams for both domestic and international businesses.
Mr. Sheet will be in charge of growing the technical and sales teams at Swimlane. Additionally, in order to increase the company’s presence and market share, the vice president will consider bringing on strategic channel partners and distributors.
“As the complexity and sophistication of attacks persist, security teams are making every effort to mature their operations with security automation at the centre. Swimlane offers customers a system of record for security operations with the ability to enable automation in and outside of the SOC. Swimlane’s low-code approach to automation means customers can unlock new use cases previously not possible with traditional security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR).”
Swimlane’s entry into the META market follows its recent $70 million growth fundraising round headed by Activate Capital. Swimlane is expected to exhibit its low-code security automation tool at Gitex Global together with its META-based CEOs.
