Ithra Dubai, a leading real estate developer and manager, wholly owned by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, has announced the launch of “One Deira” at the Deira Enrichment Project (DEP).
One Deira is a multi-use set-up that includes an office building, a 131-room hotel, and a two-level retail podium. It has two of the master plan’s highlights, an integrated transportation hub and Dubai’s first mall built atop a metro station, both in a central and convenient location.
The One Deira will serve the thriving residential and commercial communities of the surrounding phase one Districts, which will include 2,200 residential units, more than 700 retail units, over 700,000 Gross Floor Area (GFA), food and beverages (F&B) outlets, and eight international brand hotels with a total of 1,450 keys, including Adagio, Wyndham, Super 8, and Days Hotel.
One Deira features 55 brand new retail spaces on the podium level, with over 73,000 Net Lettable Area (NLA), and the Days Hotel with 131 keys, all of which are great business opportunities on offer at DEP. The opening of One Deira will also mark the debut of the UAE’s first integrated central transportation station.
A metro station, an RTA Bus Terminal, taxi ranks, and an additional 158 podium parking spaces will all be located in one central area as part of its overall transportation network. One Deira will also be the first retail complex built atop a metro station in Dubai, adding to the country’s list of firsts.
The multi-use development aims to restore Dubai’s historic commerce hub while attracting new and established commercial companies. DEP features green landscapes, neighborhood parks, and pedestrian areas within an ideal community and a strategic location for businesses to grow, catering to both community and businesses.
The Deira Enrichment Project is a vibrant mix of residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality services that are designed to revive Dubai’s historic heart of commerce and original community center while maintaining its unique cultural characteristics.
