International Data Corporation (IDC), the US-based global provider of information technology services, has collaborated with the Saudi communications authority, Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) in connection with the annual ICT Indicators Forum 2022 to be held next week in the King Abdullah Financial District, Riyadh.
The event will include IDC’s signature industry forum ‘IDC Directions 2022 Saudi Arabia’. The strategic event will feature a remarkable lineup of speakers, including the leadership of Saudi ICT-enabled public sector entities and senior global and local managements from IDC, as well as representatives of leading telecom operators and ICT vendors.
The forum will give a general view of the current market situation, combining presentations, panel discussions, and real-life use cases. It will shed light on Saudi Arabia’s journey to becoming a digital economy, highlighting the impact of government initiatives on enabling digital transformation across various sectors of the Saudi economy.
Mr. Hamza Naqshbandi, IDC’s Associate Vice President for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain stated that “As Saudi Arabia navigates the realities of the post-pandemic ‘New Normal’, the impetus on re-vamping and implementing digital strategies will be a key priority for Saudi organizations.”
