Bahrain International Airport, managed and operated by Bahrain Airport Company, has successfully hosted an exclusive itinerary for the Hosted Airline Programme (HAP).
This comes as part of Routes World 2024 event, a flagship conference that focuses on global economic growth and air services. The HAP is specifically crafted for VIP guests. It offers an authentic experience of Bahraini hospitality, gathering representatives from 19 airlines that are part of a targeted list by Bahrain Airport Company (BAC).
This initiative focused on developing networks and enhancing relationships within the industry. Over the two days, from October 4th to 5th, the guests explored Bahrain’s vibrant cultural tapestry.
The itinerary featured guided tours of the UNESCO protected pearling path in Muharraq and vibrant souqs brimmed with aromatic spices. As part of this, the guests also visited the Basket Weaving Center in Manama, which offered a striking glimpse into Bahrain’s timeless craftsmanship.
In addition to this, guests were offered sumptuous Bahraini cuisine at local establishments like Bu Zaboon House, and Cinnamon restaurant. These culinary experiences were sponsored by Bahrain Airport Services.
This program not only showcased Bahrain’s vibrant culture, stunning coastline, and historical landmarks but also served as a platform for BAC to strengthen their connection with leaders in the aviation industry.
