Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) is set to participate in the first Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference (GRTIEC), running from 8th to 10th October at ADNEC.
The event, under the theme Setting Rail Transport Infrastructure and Global Connectivity in Motion, will feature more than 150 speakers and over 100 exhibitors.
Hosted by Etihad Rail, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, ADNEC, and DMG Events, SAIF Zone will promote Sharjah’s strategic advantages, including its competitive services, cutting-edge infrastructure, and access to expanding global markets.
The zone’s proximity to Sharjah International Airport and seaports further strengthens its position as a key hub for global business. The exhibition, expected to attract over 10,000 attendees, provides a platform for networking and exchanging insights in transport and infrastructure.
During the event, SAIF Zone will highlight its logistics solutions, supported by advanced infrastructure and digital services, facilitating efficient cargo movement and supporting growth in competitive markets.
Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director-General of SAIF Zone, said taking part in GRTIEC will significantly contribute to achieving the UAE’s vision of becoming a global hub for trade and business, while showcasing SAIF Zone’s role in attracting investments and fostering economic growth.
The free zone offers various competitive advantages, including customs facilities, 24X7 services, licenses issued within an hour, and on-site workers’ housing, providing a comprehensive and efficient business environment.
