Global IT firm Dell and DEWA unite to build solutions for Dubai 10X initiative

Global IT solutions provider Dell is associating with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to support its subsidiary Moro Hub to provide cutting edge solutions in line with Dubai 10X initiative. 

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO, DEWA held a video conference with Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell Technologies to discuss the potential of sharing the best international practices and experiences between the two organizations to embrace and offer futuristic digital solutions.

DEWA subsidiary, Moro Hub collaborating with Dell Technologies to develop and deliver highly-reliable enterprise cloud computing solutions, secure data storage solutions, integrated infrastructure administration services and servers along with innovative information technology applications.

“DEWA and its subsidiary Moro Hub work in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who has mandated the Dubai Government organizations to implement services 10 years ahead of other cities around the world through government innovation through Dubai 10X initiative.”

Mr. Dell thanked Al Tayer for the fruitful discussions. He said that Dell Technologies will work closely with Moro Hub to strengthen cooperation and partnership supporting the digital transformation plans of Dubai and the UAE, with a special focus on key sectors such as healthcare, IT security and education to leverage strong capabilities and ecosystem.

The two organizations collaborate in many areas, such as automated learning (Artificial Intelligence), development of cloud computing, e-security, storage, backup and archiving services, big data and analytics as well as providing technical infrastructure for the public and private sectors and service providers.
