The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued a license to SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company, to provide ground services at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s airports to continue its pioneering efforts in providing the best-integrated logistics services with professionalism and high quality.
This is in accordance with the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services and the National Strategy for the Aviation Sector to contribute to improving the performance and development of the Kingdom’s airports and raising their operational efficiency, to provide the best and finest services to beneficiaries.
The license issuance came during the 7th meeting of the steering committee to activate the national strategy for the aviation sector, in the presence of the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GACA Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, President of GACA Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, senior officials and CEOs, and representatives of the public and private sectors working in the Kingdom’s civil aviation sector.
The Managing Director and CEO of SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company, Mr. Faisal Al-Baddah, expressed deep thanks to and appreciation of GACA for granting SAL this license, which represents a strong motive and an important incentive for the company to continue its excellence in the integrated logistics services sector.
Earlier this year, Global Critical Logistics (GCL) signed an exclusive commercial partnership agreement with SAL, to provide exclusive logistics services to all GCL companies inside of Saudi Arabia, serving end-customers in the entertainment, live events, (motor) sports, fine arts, and film and television production.
