Expenditure Efficiency and Projects Authority (EXPRO) is set to organize the inaugural Expenditure Efficiency Forum in Riyadh.
The forum will be held on November 11-12, 2024, under the patronage of the Minister of Finance and EXPRO Chairman of the Board, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan. The event will bring together a wide array of both local and foreign participants, such as decision-makers, economic experts, and international academics with specialized knowledge in this field.
This initiative aims to strengthen communication between government and international entities, highlighting the significance of efficiency, quality, and sustainability in financial and administrative sectors. This includes improving the quality of government projects, assets, facilities, and procurement.
In addition to this, the forum will center on training, institutional excellence, optimizing expenditure management in Saudi Arabia, and acknowledging the contributions of public entities. It will also showcase effective partnerships, efficient expenditure strategies, and the public sector’s achievements since Saudi Vision 2030 was launched.
Various activities in the event include interactive dialogues with decision makers and experts, workshops with public and private entities, and presentations highlighting the success stories of public agencies.
The event is expected to launch innovative initiatives as well as the establishments of partnership councils to enhance cooperation and expertise exchange. EXPRO’s experience will be showcased at interactive pavilions, and an exhibition will highlight over 15 pavilions dedicated to successful partners from public entities.
The “Innovation Challenge” will be a key highlight of the forum, where over 120 competitors will develop software that enables precise cost determination and allocation for government projects. In addition to this, the agenda includes special meetings with esteemed dignitaries and honoring remarkable expenditure-efficient teams from public agencies.
EXPRO aims to make government agencies’ expenditure more efficient, enhance the public procurement operations, elevate project quality, develop policies and methodologies, and strengthen the capabilities of national personnel.
