Etihad Rail is set to organize the inaugural Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and dmg events.
The event, scheduled from October 8-10 at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
A press briefing was held to reveal the distinguished speakers, strategic themes, and partners for this landmark event. Omar Alsebeyi, Executive Director of Commercial and Performance, and Salman Abou Hamzeh, Senior Vice President at dmg events attended the press briefing.

Global Rail will feature both Strategic and Technical Conferences, with an aim to drive sustainable and interconnected global transportation. The Strategic Conference will explore how cross-sector and cross-border collaboration can unlock rail’s full value. The Technical Conference will highlight the adaptation of advanced R&D and disruptive solutions enabling rail innovation.
The three-day conferences will include panel discussions, fireside chats, case studies, and project updates, covering legal matters, project finance, consulting, rail operators, railway infrastructure contractors, strategic investment frameworks for infrastructure funding, logistics, rolling stock, rail academics, high-speed rail, technology and AI, the transition to rail, and decarbonization.
Sheikh Nasser Al Qasimi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport Regulation Sector at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, highlighted the UAE’s rising prominence as a leader in transport, logistics, and infrastructure development, and the crucial role of Global Rail in driving sustainable future.
