EPI, an entity of EDGE Group, has entered into an agreement with Airbus Atlantic, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airbus and a global leader in aero structures, to manufacture vital metallic components for ATR aircraft.
The contract marks a key milestone for EPI as it expands into the production domain of ATR packages, complementing its existing commercial programs. In addition, this initiative will position EPI as a key player in the manufacturing of metallic components for ATR72 and ATR42 aircraft.
The agreement between EPI and Airbus Atlantic was formalized during the Airbus D2P conference in Toulouse, France. D2P designation indicates preferred supplier status in Airbus’ value chain.
Under the terms of agreement, EPI will offer end-to-end support to meet Airbus Atlantic’s rigorous requirements, standards, and targets throughout the industrialization and production phases.

EPI, established in in 2007, is committed to manufacturing top-of-the-line complex engineered components. In 2011, EPI garnered the title as the first firm in the Gulf region to receive the EN/AS9100 Revision C accreditation, known as the aerospace industry’s leading Quality Management System.
