Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) and Emtelle, a leading global manufacturer of fiber-optic and microduct solutions, have launched Emtelle’s $50 million global innovation and manufacturing facility in KEZAD Area A.
The new facility, spanning 48,000 square meter, marks a key milestone in Emtelle’s expansion within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering top-tier telecom infrastructure solutions to the global market.
Strategically located in KEZAD, the facility is a Build-to-Suit solution developed by KEZAD specifically for Emtelle, which will enable the company to meet the surging demand for high-speed internet and telecom infrastructure in the region and beyond.
The hub will produce a full range of passive telecommunication network solutions, such as microduct tube bundles and award-winning pre-connectorised fiber solutions, ensuring faster delivery, enhanced production capacity, and streamlined service to customers across the MENA region.
As the country is pacing toward its goal of achieving digital transformation, this facility will play a key role in supporting the UAE’s increasing telecom infrastructure needs. This investment falls in line with Emtelle’s vision to lead the way in providing innovative and sustainable telecom solutions, contributing to the development of smart cities and connected communities.
The cutting-edge facility, designed with scalability and sustainability at its core, will utilize energy-efficient technologies and resource management systems, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
Furthermore, Emtelle centers on promoting local talent, with the new establishment expected to flourish employment opportunities for skilled workers in Abu Dhabi.
