EDGE Group entity, AL TAIF, the UAE’s leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for military equipment, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tembo ELV BV (Tembo), a subsidiary of VivoPower International (VivoPower) in order to strengthen the cooperation.
The MoU intends to identify a framework of business opportunities towards sustainable energy solutions and joint commercial goals, including the conversion of internal combustion engines to fully electric vehicles.
According to the statement, “The companies may also participate in a transfer of knowledge and partner on product Research and Development (R&D), training in electric mobility and localized assembly operations.

Earlier this year, EDGE signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kryptus, a Brazilian multinational provider of highly customizable, reliable, and secure encryption, cybersecurity, and cyber defense solutions.
Under the terms of the MoU, EDGE, and Kryptus will collaborate to enhance cyber capabilities and collectively pursue strategic opportunities in the advanced technology and defense markets.
