e& UAE, the telecommunications arm of e&, has sealed a partnership with the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi.
The MoU, signed at GITEX Global 2024, aims to elevate connectivity of healthcare facilities through Sahatna, an integrated mobile app that empowers residents to stay healthy.
The agreement was signed by Ibrahim Al Jallaf, Executive Director of Digital Health at DoH and Haitham Abdulrazzak, Chief Business Officer of e& UAE, in the presence of Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Under-Secretary of DoH.
Under the partnership, e& UAE will support the application using SD-WAN technology solution, allowing the app to effortlessly link with healthcare facilities across Abu Dhabi. This will further enhance information exchange between facilities and patients, ensuring smooth and efficient healthcare journey.
The integrated-mobile app offers simple and convenient access to a diverse array of health and wellness services, such as appointment booking, teleconsultations, access to health records and wellness and lifestyle genomic reports and many other advanced features.
