The food lovers have had a tough time not being able to go out and enjoy their favorite cuisines due to the pandemic. Even as restrictions ease, the fear for our safety may still pull us back from just heading out to eat.
Roberto restaurant, the Italian restaurant, at the DIFC is making sure that you don’t miss out on their fine dining experience anymore by bringing it to your home. They have launched their “At Home” initiative that allows their customers to finish the final touches on the dishes by themselves, which will not take more than 10 minutes.
Once your order at “Roberto’s At Home”, the box will be delivered to you. It will contain the pre-cooked and vacuum-packed dishes from the chef. You will also receive a QR code that will take you to a video in which the chef will guide you on how to add the finishing touches to the dishes. The box also comes with a recipe card and the complete instructions, in case you fancy preparing the dish at home from scratch.
The fine dining experience does not feel complete to you without music? Roberto’s has it covered too. You will receive a QR code to access their “Roberto’s At Home” Spotify playlist that is specially curated by their in house DJ for you.
Roberto’s signature dishes available as part of ‘Roberto’s At Home’ include Burrata with Sicilian datterini tomatoes and basil to start, followed by Bomba Roberto’s Pizza, Fettuccine Roberto’s with Canadian lobster and Agnello, and slow-cooked osso buco.
You can complete your at-home fine dining with desserts including apple tart with ice cream and caramel sauce or Cannoli Siciliani with sweet ricotta cream, chocolate chips and roasted pistachios.
