Dubai Health Authority has started mobile test units to carry out COVID-19 screening in labor camps.
The state-of-the-art units can screen 1,000 individuals daily and are equipped with internal and external isolation and sterilization systems. Individuals with pre-existing health conditions and elders can also get tested in these units.
“The expansion and acceleration of medical examinations, particularly in high-density areas and workers’ residences, has contributed significantly to reducing the transmission of COVID-19 and helped us boost quarantine operations and treatment for patients”
