His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Mr. Chen Liyu, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Tianjin, signed the agreement at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters.
The aim of the agreement is to assist Chinese investors in setting up and developing their businesses in the emirate, in addition to enhancing the ability of companies operating in Dubai to expand into the Chinese market and establish strong business partnerships in Tianjin.
Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate to strengthen relationships between the business communities in Dubai and Tianjin with the goal of driving growth in trade and bilateral investments. The agreement covers wide range of sectors and areas of collaboration, aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties.
This partnership reflects Dubai Chamber’s dedication to supporting the international expansion of businesses operating in Dubai, to transform them into global markets, while attracting foreign investments and international companies to the emirate, and elevating Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for business, trade, and investments.
The organisation is also committed to playing a crucial role in achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to double the size of the emirate’s economy over the next ten years by expanding the foreign trade and enhancing the global connectivity to emerge as one of the top three global cities in the world.
