The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has concluded a series of 12 international roadshows, in collaboration with the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

These events seek to promote Expand North Star, the world’s largest global event for startups and investors, which will take place from 13-16 October this year at Dubai Harbour. The chamber met 1500 startups from Poland, India, Brazil, China, France, Morocco, France, Switzerland, the UK and the Netherlands.

The international roadshows strengthened partnership with ecosystem partners, such as venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators and government-backed entities to attract high-potential companies to Dubai. Each roadshow involves presentation on business opportunities in Dubai as well as how Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy can help startups expand into Dubai market.

During these events, a pitch competition was held and winners from each city received a fully sponsored visit to take part in Expand North Star. By offering highly effective platform for networking, innovation and collaboration, the four day event plays a significant role in attracting and connecting the global tech community to Dubai.

Expand North Star, organized by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, brings together the world’s top startups with innovators, investors, entrepreneurs as well as the founders of success stories. The event seeks to explore the striking growth opportunities flourishing in Dubai and to accelerate the pace towards the future of digital economy.

This highlights the commitment of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy to enhancing the digital ecosystem of Dubai and transforming the emirate into one of the world’s leading digital economies, aligning with the goals of Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). Expand North Star is a crucial aspect of the chamber’s strategy to elevate Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation, cutting-edge technologies and sustainable economic development.
