Dubai Cares, a part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, has signed a partnership with LG Electronics to ensure that Expo visitors to its dedicated pavilion enjoy a highly immersive experience that invites them to become part of a new chapter in the history of education.
The Dubai Cares Pavilion, which will be held under the theme “The Future is Human,” will allow visitors from all over the world to learn about Dubai’s story of coming together and creating a movement that was established in 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to leverage education as the most effective tool of development.
LG Electronics, a global developer in technology, is bringing the experience to life with a variety of cutting-edge solutions that will power the pavilion and support the organization’s aim of ensuring equitable access to quality education for children and youth around the world.
“To ensure that our pavilion captures the UAE’s rich legacy of philanthropy in improving children’s access to quality education in the most inspiring and impactful manner, we are delighted to partner with global names such as LG Electronics to leverage their industry-leading expertise in the latest technologies and solutions. We are thankful to LG for becoming part of the Dubai Cares movement and look forward to a highly successful collaboration during Expo 2020 and beyond.”
Dr. Al Gurg added that the Al Yousuf Group, one of the leading LG’s authorized distributors in the UAE has played a key role in facilitating this partnership. The partnership will contribute to enhancing the experience in Dubai Cares Pavilion located at the opportunity district at Expo 2020 Dubai.
LG Electronics offered information display technologies to the Dubai Cares Pavilion, including its 136-inch All-in-One Essential LED screen, interactive display board, and video wall solutions, to make the experience smart and immersive.
The pavilion will also feature LG’s PuriCare double tower air purifier and LG CLOi robot, both of which seek to make the environment safer and more comfortable. The LG CLOi UV-C Bot is a smart, autonomous disinfection system that enables contactless cleaning in high-traffic, high-touch areas including offices, hotels, and schools.
Mr. Hongju Jeon, President at LG Electronics Gulf said, “It gives LG tremendous pride to be partnering with the Dubai Cares Pavilion, working together to help foster new dialogues in the quest to create equitable education for all. As the world unites both virtually and in-person for Expo 2020 Dubai, advancing and future-proofing education will be a topic, we look forward to seeing discussions come to life at the Dubai Cares Pavilion.”
