du, the UAE’s leading telecom service provider, has entered into a partnership with Core42, a G42 company specializing in sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital services.
The partnership aims to enhance the fire safety infrastructure across the UAE by integrating 21 cutting-edge technology features into the Hassantuk system, an offering by Core42. The initiative was revealed at GITEX GLOBAL 2024, where du presented an exhibition under the theme “Global collaboration to forge the future AI economy”.
The Hassantuk system’s upgradation includes the integration of 13 hardware features, such as interactive touchscreens, sensors, AI-powered cameras, and more, alongside eight sophisticated application functionalities which seek to strengthen the country’s fire safety measures.
This pioneering integration highlights the UAE’s commitment to implementing smart city technologies, prioritizing public safety advancements.

Furthermore, the partners will explore future technologies that can further automate response protocols and predict potential fire risks to reinforce the UAE’s position in public safety technology. This initiative also ensures enhanced user engagement through an improved mobile application interface, resulting in greater public awareness and involvement in fire safety practices.
