DP World, a leading multinational logistics firm based in Dubai, has completed the acquisition of Cargo Services Far East Ltd, a global supply chain provider headquartered in Hong Kong.

As a market leader in origin services, Cargo Services moves goods from the factory to the customer’s doorstep, with more than 2,500 people across Asia, Europe, South Africa, and the US. This milestone reinforces DP World’s position as a global logistics leader with a workforce of over 115,000 across 800 locations, expanding its freight forwarding network to more than 200 offices by year-end, covering a remarkable 95 percent of global trade flows.

Cargo Services, launched in 1989, is known for its expertise in retail and high-fashion logistics. The company offers  tailored supply chain services for customers across the US, UK, Europe, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. Moreover, Cargo Services has diversified its offerings to include specialized cruise logistics, cementing its status as a versatile and innovative logistics partner.

DP World aims to revolutionize logistics for various industries such as automotive, chemicals, healthcare, perishables, retail and technology. The firms seeks to provide sector-specific solutions to drive efficiency, innovation and growth.
